About

Growing up, I was fascinated by wildlife and enjoying the outdoors.  I would watch wildlife documentaries and shows about animals to learn about their behaviors and environment.

Fast forward to many years, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Medical Imaging from Indiana University in 2010 to perform MRI exams.  After graduating, I was trying to figure out what hobby I wanted to get into.  I decided to give guitar playing a shot.  I tried learning songs I listen to by reading tablature books, but it turns out my fingers could not keep up with the speed of playing heavy metal.  Playing guitar was not for me, so I sold all of my equipment.  Now it was time to figure out some other hobby.  I loved looking at National Geographic magazines and enjoyed seeing the beautiful photos captured.  That’s when I decided I want to do photography and try to capture beautiful moments and scenery.

My first camera to learn photography was a Canon T3i I bought from a coworker in 2016.  Started reading a lot of books and watching YouTube videos to learn the basics.  As a nature enthusiast, I was drawn to wildlife and landscape photography and that is what I wanted to focus on.

Later in my career, I began traveling as a Travel MRI Technologist.  I was able to capture various animals and beautiful landscapes around the country.  On my days off I would go out exploring with a camera in my hand.  I have now ended the traveling part of my career and settled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of East Tennessee.

Photography may not be my career, but it is a hobby I am passionate about.  I love to capture the beauty of our world and bring it to you.  Perhaps one day I may be able to do this full time.

I hope you enjoy what you see now and in the future.

 Thank you!
